Dr Pat Campbell grew up on the Sunshine Coast and then the Darling Downs, SE Qld.  After training at UQ and working in tertiary hospitals around Brisbane she was drawn back to the bush, working in rural and remote hospitals in WA and the Northern Territory.  Pat has prior experience in refugee health, indigenous health, and polar expedition medicine.

Pat moved to Douglas Shire and joined the practice in 2014, and plans to stay in the area long term.  When not working in the clinic she is likely to be found enjoying the great outdoors.

Pat has been involved in teaching medical students and GP Registrars, and practices in all areas of family medicine with a whole person focus.  She particularly enjoys travel medicine, seeing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, skin surgery and child health.
