Over the years the government funding of Medicare has not kept pace with rising costs, and we have been forced to introduce the following fee schedule for services. Please read our 2009 Patient Billing Policy Letter (PDF format)

*Sundays and Public Holidays attract a $10 surcharge which is medicare rebatable.

As reflected in the above schedule, our local residents (those residing in the Douglas Shire >6mths), are privy to a discount on regular consultation fees, due to the seasonal income of the district.  We also bulk bill all local children under the age of 18.

All aged, disabled and carers pension card holders are bulk billed.

Please pay at the time of consultation by cash, Visa, Mastercard or EFTPOS.
