Dr Jenny trained initially in psychology before moving to studying medicine at the University of Queensland, completing her studies in 2013. She then moved to Cairns to pursue further training, which included an Advanced Skill Year in Adult Internal Medicine at Cairns Hospital, before fellowing as a Rural Generalist GP in 2018. She initially worked with Port Doctors in 2017-2018 before taking a yearlong sabbatical to travel the world with her husband, Dave. Finding that they missed the tropics, Jenny and Dave have returned to settle in the area with Jenny becoming a principal partner in the practice in 2019.

Dr Jenny enjoys the variety of medicine that general practice brings, and has particular interests in mental health, women’s health and sexual health.

Outside of work she enjoys photography, gardening, and exploring nature both locally and while travelling overseas.
